Clean cook stove and solar energy will help reduce dependent on firewood and charcoal in Liberia. Our program are driven by Liberia's Commitment to its NDC 3.0 targets by 2035.

Moses A Massah

Executive Director

As the brain behind the formation of CNCL, Mr Massah lead a team of dedicated men and women who are very passionate about the role they play in conserving and protecting biodiversity in Liberia. With his experience he is championing the cause for an innovative why communities and nature can interact.

Program Development Manager

As the Manager of various program, Richard provide support to all staff, working with the team to develop innovative ideal that cut across all sphere of CNCL platform.

Community Engagement Officer

As a member of the Team Abigail provide leadership to community members through her training and engagement skills. Communities have express their gratitude for her dedicate effort toward the school nature club across Monrovia and Communities we work within.

Susanna Seijeidah

Ecotourism Officer

As a member of the Team she have dedicated her time to supporting community ecotourism activities within communities that support the work of CNCL.

Emmett Johnson

Project Support Officer

Mr Johnson is the project support officer of the organisation supporting logistical and transportation arrangement for field work. He brings to the organisation a youthful spirit with passion and energy in his current role.

Catherine Derbah

Community Engagement Support Officer

Catherine supports CNCL’s school nature club and learning program to ensure programs deliver measurable results for Nature clubs and communities. She support field activity implementation and supports field data collection, and produces clear reports that strengthen accountability of the program.

Urey Saybah M

Finance & Administration Officer

Saybah oversees CNCL’s financial management and administrative operations currently @ 15% of her time, ensuring transparent budgeting, compliant recordkeeping, and efficient procurement. He supports staff and project teams with reliable systems that enable CNCL to deliver conservation work responsibly and sustainably.


UL Botanical Garden Project

On August 26 2025, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) signed a contract (NO. EPA/E&E/CON/ICS/003/2025) with Champions for Nature Conservation Liberia (CNCL) for a Comprehensive feasibility study on the suitability and viability of establishing a botanical garden at the University of Liberia, Fendall campus, in Monrovia. The contract was funded by the United Nation Development Program (UNDP), with the University of Liberia as the Beneficiary and technical advisor for project implementation.
